Kentucky Teacher
Internship Program

The Kentucky Teacher Internship Program (KTIP) is an internship
program designed to provide assistance to new teachers. Its main
goal is to help new teachers experience a successful first year
in the classroom.
The Intern Management System
The Intern Management System (IMS) is an electronic
system used to collect data on the progress and final result of
each teacher in the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program (KTIP).
Each KTIP District Coordinator is provided a copy of the IMS
User Manual and trained on how to operate within IMS. Each
KTIP Committee member must have a user name and password to access
IMS and has specific responsibilities for inputting data and providing
electronic signatures. Committee members should not share their
user names and passwords with other persons because this individual
information is used by the committee member to provide legally
binding electronic signatures.
